Location: Lives Toowoomba, works all across Australia

How did you come to work for RSA? I graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 2022 having completed a Masters in Engineering Science, Civil Engineering. I had worked as a designer already, it was an office job, I wanted to be out in the field. The RSA job came up and it looked really interesting.  

What’s it been like working for RSA so far? A big benefit of working for a small company is the variety of the work. I’m working on my third project this year and have been around the country from Central QLD  to WA, working on everything from agricultural feedlots to dams. They also really look after us;  I hope I can stay here for a few years! 

You’re from India originally, why did you choose to come to Australia?

I’d finished my Bachelor of Civil Engineering and was looking for places to do my Masters. I considered the U.S., but there are so many opportunities in Australia for Engineers so I took the plunge. I studied in Toowoomba, QLD which is very different to India! It’s cold but beautiful.
