Brine Dam (BR1)

RSA was engaged by Whitehaven Coal to deliver a 450 ML dual-lined brine storage pond and 13 ML sediment basin at the Narrabri Mine, NSW. The project involved large-scale bulk earthworks, specialist HDPE geomembrane containment incorporating leak detection systems and comprehensive water management and rehabilitation works.

Delivered to high safety and environmental standards, the project demonstrates RSA’s capability in complex brine storage and containment infrastructure for major mining clients.
