Etta Plains Development

RSA successfully delivered the staged development of a large-scale flood irrigation scheme at Etta Plains, encompassing more than 4,000 hectares of agricultural land.The project scope included the construction of approximately 20,000 ML of water storage across two major dams, along with extensive land levelling works, levee banks, and a comprehensive network of river supply, field distribution, and tailwater return channels.

RSA also delivered a range of supporting infrastructure, including culverts, pumping stations, concrete slabs, tilt panel structures, and a 1.6 km rural airstrip. These works were supported by on-site concrete batching operations to ensure efficiency and quality control throughout delivery.

Completed over multiple stages across several years, the project demonstrates RSA’s capability to manage complex, high-volume earthworks and water infrastructure in remote agricultural environments. The successful outcome reflects RSA’s commitment to maintaining consistent quality, operational efficiency and strong performance over long-term project programs.
