Whyalla Beef Feedlot Expansion

RSA delivered a single-stage expansion of the Whyalla Feedlot near Texas, Queensland, increasing production capacity through the construction of 73 new production pens, 42 hospital and handling pens and two additional handling facilities. The project included significant bulk earthworks, access roads and upgraded effluent management infrastructure, comprising a new sedimentation basin, effluent holding pond and emergency bypass.

Extensive concrete works were completed using an on-site batching plant, along with water reticulation, drainage and sealed pavements, demonstrating RSA’s capability to deliver large-scale feedlot expansions with integrated civil and environmental infrastructure.
